  1. While I haven't personally experienced virtual reality in an educational setting, I think it's one of the most exciting of all of the educational emerging trends out there. I feel that I learn the best when I feel fully immersed in the environment where the content is concerned. I used to teach Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights; if you've read it, you know that the setting plays such a significant role in terms of symbolism in the story. Students didn't always understand the environment of the story, much less what a moor looks and feels like. To be able to offer a virtual reality experience where they would be able to understand the physical differences between the two different locations of Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange might help them get the narrative implications made for characters based on where they lived. Not everyone can afford to shell out thousands of dollars to plan a trip to the UK in order to experience the moors in person; virtual reality is a way to make the experience accessible to everyone without leaving home. I think the potential impact could be huge as long as the VR catalog continues to grow. I haven't looked into just how expansive the library of virtual reality experiences is. Were there any particular resources you have come across that offer these experiences? If there is something that I'm looking for specifically but that I can't find, how can educators create these VR experiences on their own? Is it even possible?

Additionally, some VR content creation companies or specialized developers can assist in creating custom VR experiences tailored to specific educational needs.

    It's worth mentioning that as the field of VR in education continues to evolve, the catalog of VR experiences is expanding. Educators and developers are actively creating new content to address diverse educational needs. Exploring educational technology conferences, online communities, and VR-specific forums can provide valuable insights and resources for finding or creating VR experiences that align with your teaching goals. It has been my experience that a tech person within the school building needs to be available to make these lessons work.
